Lauren Maxwell grew up in the Tampa Florida area, but has lived in the Galapagos Islands, the Dominican Republic, atlanta, GA, and most recently Signal mountain, tn. She spends her days teaching high school math but has been an avid artist and creator since she was young. Currently, her primary medium is  ceramics where she Experiments with drawing and sculpting on the exterior of her forms. She also works with colored pencil on wood where she creates playful large scale drawings.
